Building on the broader investigation of scrappy, ready-made components, this study tests how far familiar mechanical parts can be reinterpreted. Rather than designing a seamless object, the project constructs architectural form from an awkward aggregate of everyday infrastructure—antennas, satellite dishes, and utilitarian chassis.
By stripping these assemblies of their default utility, the project treats them as "Unidentified Objects". Subjecting these raw mechanical clusters to a rigorous visual investigation—scanning them against landscapes and isolating their internal geometries—forces their standard functions to break down.
The process embraces the weird, unresolved moments that occur when ordinary parts are removed from their normative context. Through this methodical analysis, the project forces a new reading of the mundane, transforming a slapped-together pile of mechanisms into highly calibrated architectural artifacts. It acts as a concentrated testing ground for taking the collateral of the built environment and reinterpreting it in entirely unapparent ways.
